Bridal blouses
Full aari, maggam and zardosi work across yoke, sleeves and back — the densest and most time-intensive work the studio takes on. Designed around your saree and the occasion.
Designer blouses
Border work, sleeve panels and back detailing for receptions, festivals and functions. Lighter than bridal, still entirely handworked.
Gowns & Indo-Western
Sequinned evening gowns and contemporary silhouettes, cut and finished to measure.
Children’s wear
Occasion pieces for children, in the same techniques and to the same standard as the adult work.
Alterations
Refitting and repair, including work on embroidered garments made elsewhere.
Not everything here is ethnic wear
Gowns, Indo-Western silhouettes and reception wear are cut and finished in the same studio, to the same measurements, by the same hands.
Before you enquire
How long does a piece take?
It depends entirely on how dense the embroidery is. A lightly worked designer blouse and a fully worked bridal piece are very different jobs. We will give you a firm timeline at the consultation, once the design is agreed.
Do I bring my own fabric?
You can, and many customers do — particularly when the blouse is being made to match a saree they already own. We can also source fabric. Bring the saree with you either way, so the colour is matched in daylight.
How many fittings are included?
A fitting is part of the commission. Adjustments at that fitting are included — you are not charged extra to make the garment fit properly.
Can you copy a design I have seen?
We can work from a reference image, and usually we will suggest adapting rather than copying exactly — so the piece suits your saree, your measurements and how you will actually wear it.
Do you take orders from outside Bengaluru?
Measurement and fitting are done in person at the studio, which is the honest limitation on remote orders. Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is workable.
How do I care for hand embroidery?
Dry clean only, and store folded with the embroidery facing inwards, away from direct light. We will go through this at handover.
